The Conquest Sutra

Chapter One - Undecided Fate

There once was a time where Mystic Castle held great wonders,

beautiful artifacts of many generations, gold and silvers enough to

rule many kingdoms. Now it stands as to no more then just ruins where

devils and bats crawl with hunger in their eyes.

This all came to be when a mysterious Taoist came to the castle,

ordered that he must be allowed to reborn, enhancing his powers so

that no one can surpass him. But the Water Saints of the Castle

refused due to the evil they sense in his heart. The mysterious Taoist

exploded in greed and anger he casted his spells and destroyed the

castle, thinking that if the Saints won't allow it he will just have

to steal the Conquest Sutra himself. The Conquest Sutra was a book

with great powers locked away within it, the power to allow rebirth.

Little did he know destroying the castle sent off 7 stones as well,

which was required to complete the spell? The sutra was also destroyed

with its pages scattered everywhere but leaving one...

"The power long awaited, sleeping deep within

The Dragon Gem is needed for this rebirth to begin..."

With its pages scattered the sutra is incomplete and now the

mysterious Taoist is hunting its pages down and this first clue of a

mystery Dragon Gem!

"Hey Jaykunn, you really can't believe this junk can you? like

seriously that is like one of the bed time stories my mom tells me."

"Well a story's a story, but this dream... it's been happening a lot

lately..."

"Well I really don't know what to say, but i really must run i have to

head to the training grounds soon, my tornadoes have been off lately

cant seem to hit my targets, see yah Jay don't think to hard okay?

After all it's only a dream!"

"Alright! ill catch you later!"

That's my best friend Seidas, not the average fire Taoist you would

expect, he and i grew up here in Birth Village together. Just few

months ago he was promoted to fire wizard and was presented by the

Emperor of Twin City a gift called the Mana Backsword. A weird looking

wand actually, quite an unusual thing though his power never seems to

run out.

That night... i was having the same dream again.

"AHHH! Why do I keep having this dream damn it! I need to go get some

fresh air!"

"Halt!" a voice from behind me yelled.

"Good afternoon General Saiyu, out on duty i see?"

General Saiyu is one of the top Warrior Masters here in Birth Village.

He became General not to long ago, guarding the inner walls of this

village. His weapons to this day is still quite unknown, But i always

like to guess it to be likely a wand since all the other guards carry

their spear but him.

"Why you are out so late Jay, thought you were an enemy."

"Well General, I've been having this dream lately and I don't know... i

just wanted to clear my head with a walk."

"You know, you should go see the Taoist Star at the promotion den, he

might be able to give you some answers."

"Oh that's right! Thank you a lot General ill head there now!

"Take care!"

"Huh?! What was that?"

"What's the matter Jay?"

"Something ran through behind that bushes and its heading towards the

den!"

"Must be that darn criminal, let's go Jay!"

"Stop it right there! Drop what you have now and we might allow you to

live your life peacefully, act and you might just find your head and

body in two place of this town!"

"General, let me handle this, my Toxic Fog will lure him out and take

him down!"

"Take that! TOX-IC FOG HAA! Damn it he got away!"

"Its okay Jay, the item is still here safe and sound."

"What is it?"

"It's a jewel, a gem, which this den has protected over many centuries;

it's known as the Phoenix Gem."

"WOAHH! That gem it looks just like the oth..."

"GENERAL! Thank heavens you got our gem back it would be great

destruction if this gem were to be lost and united with the others!"

This is the Taoist Star, an honorable man. He has very little details

given about him self but he is a man of few words but much answers!

"Sir! That gem..."

"Ahhh, your Jaykunn, i sense much vibes from your heart. Your vision

are leaving trails of unanswered questions, do you wish to know, my

child?"

"Yes Sir, I've been seeing these gems lately and there's many more of

them... 7 as of a direct count!"

"Ahhh... yes the 7 rebirth stones. Long ago a wicked Taoist came to

the Holy Mystic Castle in order to be empowered with the power of

rebirth, he was refused by the Saints and so he cast away his magic to

destroy the temple and run off with the Conquest Sutra..."

"The Conquest Sutra, a book containing the secrets of rebirth!"

"So your vision says!, you child got a very unique bond with these

gems but for now we are blind to see, only you can figure out what it

is to fulfill your life's destiny, go home and rest child, and meet me

at the den here tomorrow!"
