How to install the game?

1. Check the System Requirements: Before installing and launching Conquer, first check to see if your computer specifications meet the following requirements.

2. Download Client: Use the options from our official download page to download the game client to your computer. Download time will depend on your connection speed, and may take an hour or two.

If you have an installation CD, you can simply insert the CD and do not need to download the client. Insert the CD and the installation will begin automatically. You can order a CD off our official website, through the Sales section.

3. Update DirectX / Drivers: First install DirectX 8.1 or higher, as well as the latest drivers for your graphics card. If your drivers are already up to date, then you can proceed to the next step.

4. Install the Game Client: Double-click on the self-executable file you downloaded, and then follow the instructions to install the game. It should install automatically, and place the game icon on your desktop.

If you install from a CD, just insert the Conquer CD into your CD-ROM drive. The installation should begin automatically, but if it doesn't, you may start the installation by opening My Computer, double-clicking on your CD-ROM drive, then finally double-clicking the Conquer icon. Follow the instructions within the setup program to complete the installation. After the game is fully installed, a Conquer shortcut will be added to your desktop.
