What are the ores and gems used for?
(1) You can sell them for money.
(2) Euxenite Ores are used in many quests, like Alchemist Quest, Captain Li Quest, and also used for Archer promotion.
(3) Gold Ores are used to leave the PK prison, and complete the Alchemist Quest.
(4) You can socket a gem in your equipment. Please learn more details about the gems.
How to mine?
Once you reach level 15, you may buy a Pick Axe from the Storekeeper in Twin City (417, 352) at a price of 1,000 silvers. You can also obtain a hoe from the Warden in PKer Jail (25,68) for free.
The Conductress in Twin City can teleport you to the Plain Mine at 100 silvers. Before you go to the Mine Cave, you'd better buy a teleport scroll from the Pharmacist so that you can return to Twin City instantly.
To mine, just equip a Pick Axe or a Hoe, and right click on the ground to start mining. To stop mining, just left click on the ground or move your character.
